At Helloweddy Matrimony, we deeply value your trust in our services. Every membership and service you purchase is backed by our ethically grounded, professionally managed, and emotionally sensitive process. However, due to the highly personalized and non-transferable nature of our services, our refund policy is as follows:

1. General Refund Principle

All payments made for any Helloweddy services are considered final and non-refundable once the onboarding process has begun or any part of the service has been utilized. This includes:

  • Relationship Manager assignment
  • Profile creation and promotion
  • Match recommendations
  • Background checks or medical verification
  • Any calls, chats, or family meetings facilitated

⚠️ Our services are time-bound, human-effort driven, and involve confidential, customized interventions that cannot be undone or resold.

 

2. Grace Period – Refund Eligibility (Within 48 Hours)

If you have not used any part of the service, and no on boarding activities have commenced, you may be eligible for a 50% refund, provided:

  • You request cancellation within 48 hours of payment
  • You submit a valid reason for withdrawal

Send your refund request to teamhelloweddy@gmail.com with your registered mobile number, payment ID, and reason for cancellation.

 

3. Zero Refund Conditions

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • You decide to withdraw after receiving potential matches
  • You reject all suggested matches or communication attempts
  • Your expectations (regarding looks, caste, salary, etc.) are overly rigid or unrealistic
  • Delay in marriage due to personal/family reasons
  • You do not complete required documents or respond to PRM efforts
  • Your behaviour violates platform ethics (e.g., abuse, dishonesty, or harassment)
  • Your case involves re-marriage, NRI matching, or investigative services already initiated

 

4. Service Re-Purpose Option (No Refund, But You Get Value)

If you're not ready to proceed now or wish to discontinue temporarily:

  • You can freeze your profile for up to 6 months
  • You may transfer services to a family member or sibling (once, with verification)

 

5. Match Guarantee Disclaimer

We do not promise marriage. We promise:

  • Verified, emotionally compatible match attempts
  • Transparent, respectful communication
  • Honest documentation and safety protocols

Due to human involvement, emotions, family factors, and preferences, marriage is not a guaranteed deliverable.

 

6. Fraud, Abuse, and Misuse

If any user attempts to exploit our platform or staff through:

  • Threats
  • Emotional manipulation
  • Use of fake profiles or documents
    → We reserve full rights to terminate services without refund and may report such actions under Indian Cyber & Matrimonial Laws.

 

7. Dispute Redressal

For exceptional or legal concerns, please escalate your case to our: Grievance Cell – grievance@helloweddy.in
Resolution will be initiated within 7 working days, as per applicable Indian laws (Consumer Protection Act 2019 & IT Act 2000).

 

8. Policy Authority

This policy is binding once payment is made. By registering with Helloweddy, you agree to our service terms, refund clauses, and ethical boundaries.
